Rubén Simeó Biografía
Born in Vigo, Spain, in 1992, Rubén’s musical training began at the local conservatory under the guidance of his father. It was at this young age that Ruben’s exceptional talent was noticed. He soon began performing live concerts and appearing on TV, demonstrating his technical maturity on the trumpet.

At 8 years old he took part in a multitude of national and international competitions, such as Yamaha in Madrid; Ciudad de Vigo, Spain; Porcia, Italy; Benidorm; Maurice André, Paris (since this, Rubén has become the latest pupil of Maurice André, who took Ruben under his guidance to polish his technique and interpretation), Selmer Competition, France; P. At 12, he was invited to perform as guest soloist with the RTVE Symphony Orchestra of Spain, performing at the National Auditoriums in Madrid and Zaragoza, and was seen by a global audience when the Televisión Española Internacional Christmas concert was broadcast across the world. Also aged 12, Rubén was recording his debut album, “ENSUEÑO”, which he toured extensively in Spain and Portugal.

Rubén also dedicates himself to teaching his art, giving master classes in Estonia, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Japan and China.

He also performs and records with different Symphonic Orchestras, including the Munich Orchestra, R.T.V.E., Valencia Symphony, Viana do Castelo (Portugal), Sinfónica de San Cristobal (Venezuela) Guarde Republicaine Windband (France), Sinfónica Leon, Orq. Lliria, and U.M Montserrat.

In July 2005, at age 13, Ruben was invited by Maurice André to perform at the International Trumpet Week at Bordeaux, France. In 2008, he was also invited to perform with Maurice André and Michel Becquet in Lille, in a tribute to Maestro André. He has recorded several albums, released worldwide, with the Siena Wind Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Kanazawa (Japan), various symphonic bands, and chamber music and baroque music orchestras. In 2008, in recognition of his brilliant concert career, he was awarded the European Prize for Culture in Stuttgart (Germany).

Currently, Rubén performs around the world as a trumpet soloist, and with the Hulencourt Soloists Chamber Orchestra. He continues to study with Vicente Campos at the Castellón Conservatory.
